I have an empty apartment with poo ground into the wall to wall. Is that why they call it shampooing? Any recommendations greatly appreciated.

  1. Okay, so we all suck for not knowing that “wall to wall” is shorthand for “wall-to-wall carpeting.”

You’re welcome for the advice about enzyme cleaners, too.

  2. Well sorry, but I did read it as poo ground in all over like from a pet dog. Several people in posts above mine were talking about the carpet like that was the case and you did not correct them.

  3. No sepentor, I said “ground into the wall to wall”.

Anyway, I’m using Servpro. I’ve used them before, after a fire and a flood and they are really good. I didn’t know they had a Poo Division.

  4. PS. You did say “ground in wall to wall” which sounds pretty explosive and different from one pile.

PPS. Most hardware stores will rent you a steam cleaning carpet thing. Which you can employ after the foaming enzyme spray has foamed.

  5. Ummm … thanks for actually explaining. That is gross. (as if you didn’t know). So we’re talking about a spot here, not wall to wall poop grinding in?

I would consider going to a pet store and straight up lying. Tell them your brother was visiting with his great dane who ate something that didn’t agree with him and now you have a situation. They have sprays for that.

Alternatively, I think Zout makes an enzyme spray. That is basically what you want, some kind of foaming enzyme spray.
