I am finally ready to sell my house in Windsor Terrace. I put together a nice website with pictures and would like to start marketing it. Any idea where best I should post my ad?

Any tips would be greatly appreciated.

  1. yeah, much better than many brokers! great job. with my eyesight I normally hate white-on-black but it seems OK here, the pics stand out.

    maybe indicate windows/doors on plan?

what’s a “cool roof”? i’ve heard that used for a way of isolating the roof membrane to prevent ice dams, or it it just too cool for words?

  2. Nice place – I really like the details on the cornice, and the floors are great.

Great job on the website too.

Agree with DIBS and quikazoid – bathroom pics and a pic of the backyard would be great. However, I think this is more than enough to get any real buyers to come out and have a look. Dunno the logistics of putting a property on Streeteasy.com, but would recommend there as well.

  3. Great site. Great House.

    Just a couple of suggestions:
-Black backgrounds can be tough, so maybe white with black text. But if your set on keeping the black then I would change the link color to red, blue is hard to see.

-Make the floor plan part of the slide show in addition to the linked gif. If you have a larger image (large as possible) of the floor plan I would use that.

Good luck. Hopefully your straight forward, honest from the start approach will translate to buyers.

  4. Wow, a better listing than some brokers.

As bad as my spelling is most times, I’ll mention that you misspelled ‘living’ room.
    “an over-sized leaving room”

Ditto re: NY times and craigslist. Schedule an open house.
    Good luck.

  5. Nice website (and at first glance quite an attractive price).
Only criticism is that it’s not easy to tell from the first pricture which house is yours. I presume the one on the left based on the floorplan’s not having bay windows.

  6. Is picture 6 where they film those cartoon chase scenes where people are running into and out of a many-doored hallway?

All kidding aside, you have a very loevly house.
