  1. Same here, we put an offer on one of their places, they said we would be signing an “as is” contract, but also a rider that says the property will be fully renovated.

Mozamba, come back and tell us what happened!

  2. I too am considering making an offer with them. Any feed back on your experiences would be useful. Obviously this is a proceed with caution scenario, but any tips are appreciated.

  3. hey mozambrooklyn, just wondering how things went with Massada and the contract since April. I am thinking about making an offer on one of their properties, but looking for more perspective on Massada after reading these comments…thanks.

  4. I was wondering what ever happened with your experience with them- I just submitted an offer on one of their places yesterday and the contract was for as-is where they are promising total “gut rehab” . . . .

  5. Massada come across to me as one of those “grey market” one stop shop companies that operate in queens, and “blue collar” Brooklyn, not unlike United Homes. Just make sure you have a good lawyer, mortgage broker, and inspector. And yes, they should be all your own.

  6. Do lots of renovation companies and brokers list 2 families as 3 unit places?

  7. Yes, I’m farmilar. It depends on the persons be careful they are some slick son of a you know what. I looked at a couple of properties with 2 of their agents. 1 of the 2 was kinda kool he drives a bmw. However they make sure your atterney look over everthing before you consent to anything. They will tell you to put in an offer and wait it out because they are looking for a higher bidder. They also will fix up the property relly nice. example the building will be listed as a 2 family and they would try and sell it as a 3 family. They are slick. WHATCH OUT
