I’m a huge fan of Hlad. He’s re-plumbed virtually our whole house, installed a new boiler and hot water heater, and done a lot of small repairs. We’ve never had any problems, and John really went the extra mile when our boiler died during Thanksgiving week–he got it ordered and installed at warp speed with no extra charges.
I always used them, both in my old coop and now with my house. Generally accurate and pragmatic on little fixes. Not cheap on big renos (our contractor did not have him bid, but he would have been too high, anyway; unfortunately, we got what we paid for). Anyway, tehse folks are honest and i find they know what they are doing. Don’t hesistate to use him.
Pretty good…
In my former PS house, had him replace a water heater, very satisfied then.
Before selling got a a repair of a drain pipe issue that came up in an inspection. Not cheap but again satisfied.
Latest experience in the new house, not so great. Tried to get a repair of a shower diverter and a leak in another shower fixed. He didn’t really want to get into repairs that would involve repairing damage to tiles or walls in the course of getting at the plumbing. I got charged for quick & dirty repair attempts that didn’t solve the issues.
