I have a skylight on a warehouse – it’s a “chicken coop”. The metal struts have rusted & the mesh/glass is at risk of falling out. I want to just put a cover over the hole, not replace the skylight. What kind of trade should I get estimates from? And what material – iron work, boxed roofing material? It’s roughly 4′ x 6′ on a flat roof.

  1. Thanks, Vinca. I’ll try a tinsmith. Maybe it has to be 2 trades – one for structure & one for flashing, etc. I think the existing frame is usable, just not the mullions.
