Details of my 1880 coop? A reference?
I would like to locate a book or set of books that might allow me to understand what the interior of my coop looked like when it was new, probably some time in the 1880s.
Dear Everyone:
I would like to locate a book or set of books that might allow me to understand what the interior of my coop looked like when it was new, probably some time in the 1880s. In This Old Coop, there are various details (fireplace, woodwork, etc that have been covered up and/or are in need of replacement. Where can I look to know what the interior looked like when it was new?

you should check several inexpensive Dover books: Old Brooklyn in Early Photographs, and I think its called New York Interiors in Early Photographs.
Also, The Tasteful Interlude, by William Seale is FANTASTIC.
