I would second the recommendation for Alam. I had a very positive experience with him a few years ago.
Metro waterproofing and restoration done lot of landmark brownstone work recently in Park Slope and downtown area. Call 1-877-34-Metro or 718-521-1435
Try A&T Construction. Contact is Alam. He is an excellent mason that takes pride in his work. His number is 917-254-7112. Price alone is not the only factor. If stoop is done correctly, it will not need repair for many years to come. This is an important factor in considering any work to be done on your brownstone.
There are a number of companies that do brownstone stoops. More established ones are Edson, Adami and Carbonell. An up and comer is the Brownstone Authority (brownstoneauthority.com). Prices will vary depending upon the extent of the work that needs to be done.
I’ve been given 2 quotes to redo my stoop both for 9000.00
we need to do the same work…the stairs are starting to crumble…eeks! looking forward to any suggestions.
