We don’t know how we passed over IMBY’s report that 400 15th Street, which has been stalled since forever (and has had plenty of trouble to boot) was sold and had its construction permits renewed. The deed was sold in lieu of foreclosure for $3,831,159.61 to Fox Reality Properties LLC. Permits were renewed in November, revealing that the architect will change to KCC Architects, although there’s no news on how much the look of the development will change. The permits are already approved for a five story, 18 unit apartment building. GMAP DOB

Hopefully this builder will have more “skills” than the last one. Figure another two or three years to finish and we will have lived through an entire decade of backyard construction.
This building is next to the infamous subterranean Armory Plaza Parking Garage with its auxiliary dwelling units. It took 5 years to build that POS.
