these depress me. well maybe not anymore cuz i dont care but when i lived on the Lower east side in manhattan i always used to go and chill on my roof. then one warm spring day i went up there and i see these rooftop cabanas and additions to all the tenements around my block!!! i dont know, it was depressing for some reason, and put a whole lot into perspective for me.
then i started throwing ink filled water balloons onto them.

Agreed, it’s noisy on the street with the trains, I can’t imagine paying to have a space right next to them.
i want to like Dumbo, but that roof top will s*ck – LOUD LOUD LOUD and full of grime, dirt, and exhaust. it’s just so frickin awful there unless you like ear shattering trains on bridge noise, then delightful.
