When we last checked in six weeks ago, only five floors of the lower base of the building had been put up. Now look at it! The left-hand photo is from the Eastern Parkway side and the right-hand photo is taken from Lincoln Place. Those signature round concrete columns–which we can only assume will be exposed when all is said and done–are much more obvious now that the tower portion has been constructed. Has anyone heard a target date for completion?

The ceilings are too low, and that gets me very upset, I mean if your building such a beautiful building in such a prime area then why not do it (like they say in Yiddihsh “Mit hent Un Mit Fees†ask your grand mother what that mean completely?
The developer is goanna make another half a mil for the extra floor but by building this building he is making history!
You may as well do it right; with high ceilings give it the ultimate; give it grander and old world charm.
I agree — this building is going to be gorgeous — I love his buildings in Manhattan on Charles and Perry, too. Any idea who’s going to be marketing this?
I love Meier’s buildings, but I don’t quite know how to respond to the “full-frontal and rear” shots of “Meier getting it up”.
