yeah i’m kinda sick of this too. i’m not for it but he owns them and he won. just get on and focus your energies else where.
IF you live in the neighhborhood be prepared to bear the consequences – pollution, traffic, over crowding and the abuse of individual rights by the government. Or in other words the greed of the wealthy developes triumphs over the lives of the middleclass and poor.
hear hear Anonymous 10:59! The opposition has nothing left. give it up already and start focusing your energies on more important matters such as education, poverty and curing diseases!
I sympathize with the sentiments of anon 10:31. I think that most people are sick of this whole thing. The opposition is losing steam as their options are exhausted. As much as I enjoy this board, the threads on the Atlantic Yards are beyond repetitive.
bruce ratner is the city!
anon, give me your address- i have a slaughterhouse i’d like to open.
of course the city has the right to determine how large tracts of land will be used.
i am so sick and tired of hearing people bitch and moan about Ratner and his development. he owns the property, he’s going to build and that’s that. embrace change people. stop trying to live in your static world vacuums!
Why do you care whether it is dangerous or not ? The buildings belong to Ratner, if he wants to demolish it, he should be able to.
Feh!
Money wins again.
Yeah, dangerous, right.
