101 Boerum Place isn’t moving very quickly, but at least it’s topped out. The thing that still surprises us is that permits say it will be a one-family house. Update: Since the development covers two lots, the DOB permit exists separately for a one family at 101 Boerum and another one family at 103 Boerum. Looks like you can track the progress of this building here. It’s started to get bricked! GMAP DOB

  1. I misspoke when I said I looked at this site … I saw another building on Boerum Place (maybe 134), further up the block. I thought this looked very different.

The building I saw was one lot wide, gutted and partially renovated. What through me off was the realtor mentioned a husband/wife team redoing the site.

  2. Wen I looked at this building almost a year ago, it was being sold as a gutted one-family, with walls partially studded.

The space would have been great; however, the asking price back then was way too high, considering all the work that was needed.

I just walked by this week and it looked exactly as in the photo.

  3. They started a red brick facade this week. From what I could see looking through those windows, there were no interior doorways in the dividing walls between each window, so I don’t see how it could be anything other than separate apartments.
