I miss the service station that used to be there. It was so convenient, you would drop the car off in the morning, walk to the subway and go to work, pick it up on the way home. they did such good business.
Would love an Apple Store and would be ok with a Crate & Barrell. I heard they are opening the NYC’s first REI store in Manhattan in the Puck bdlg next year. This location would have been pretty good for one of those.
That would be a good spot for an Apple Store.
I guess the demand is legit, but $665K for a 1BR? Amazing.
Soon they’ll have a great view of 750 inmates in orange jumpsuits occupying the detention center. Perhaps another Bail Bond storefront would be a more appropriate retail tenant….
too small for whole foods and they think they are so special they can pay very low rent Crate is possible, and a couple others
If a store is over 10,000 sf and is not hardware or food it generally has to go the Community Board and the Board of Standards and Appeals for Special Permit, CPC too
We walked by here on the Pacific side this weekend and noticed that it looks like the retail space is in the process of being built out. Doesn’t sound like anyone knows what is yet though?
Please… no Sleepy’s.
Or, Dollar Store.
The ‘hood doesn’t really need a Whole Foods. We’re pretty well covered between Trader Joe’s, Key, Pacific Green Gourmet, Sahadi’s, etc.
Crate & Barrel 2 is rumored to be looking for space on Atlantic…
