The framework for 143 North Third Street, the as-of-right part of the Quadriad mixed-use development between Bedford, Berry, North Third, and North Fourth streets in Williamsburg, seems to have reached its full height of 50 feet and five stories. Another part of the complex, according to its DOB filings, looks like it will be 60 feet high, also with five stories. As far as we know, the developers have given up on their original plan for a group of 20-story towers on the site. GMAP P*Shark DOB

  1. Was wondering what was going on here. I assume these are to be rentals? Big wins here – less of a massive pit in the ground (this is an entire block we’re talking about here – a real estate black hole if there ever was one), contextual height (we’ll see about the looks), and more centrally-located rental stock. Anyone know what the updated plans for the rest of the block are?
