Right down the block from the 75 Clinton Street conversion is 101 Clinton, which the Brooklyn Eagle reports is also undergoing a conversion. The commercial building was approved for forty residential units on the second through sixth floors of the six-story building. Since the building’s out of the Brooklyn Heights Historic District and the permit allows for the removal and rebuilding of the facade facing Clinton and Joralemon Street, the final product is anybody’s guess. The Eagle wasn’t able to get the developer to dish on his own projects but our sources are telling us it’s going to be rentals.

Interestingly, if you look closely at the building shell right now, you can see that it was originally a two-story building, similar to the one right across the street.
