chop shop. oh yes, i’ve lived here long enough to know of such things.
those buildings are the “Russian Orthodox Cathedral of the Transfiguration of Our Lord” and the church’s rectory.
i believe that the tear-down was of the crummy lean-to building that was used as a body (chop) shot, so, no big whoop.
wow, those houses/mansions, in the background look spectacular, like something that you’d find on Clinton Ave or somewhere in Crown Heights. Any more photos of those.
