Designed by Chelsea-based Kossar & Garry Architects, the brick-and-glass structure should ultimately house 66 apartments over seven floors and 96,000 square feet of space. Waddya think of it?

for atlantic ave – the zoning should have given some extra bldg sq ft… maybe a story or two… but it’s an improvement over what’s there now. ie nothing.
Yes – out of context – it doesn’t fit in with the gas station that used to be on the site. Or across the street from the site. Shouldn’t the architect be contextual and build a 20 story homage to the House of D, just like 11:39 wants?!
Retail space?
That top unit will have some GREAT views of the house of detention with all that glass.
Total crap, disguisting, hideous, henious, horrible, horrendous, monstrosity, eyesore, travesty, awful, terrible, appalling, dreadful, ghastly, shocking, and of course, out of context.
I likey too.
Looks like a nice design, and will certainly be a big improvement over that awful empty lot!
Looking forward to the day when both side of Boerum on south side of Atlantic Avenue are built up.
Any renderings of other side (which also does not have approved plans yet) but proposed 145000 sq ft building.
Nice. I like it!
