Ugly, but not extraordinarily so. Really no worse than the badly re-muddled building next door. OTOH, that building could be restored someday while the best you could hope for the new one would be for it to be torn down.
it really could be a lot worse. at least it sort of matches the color of the surrounding buildings, and it’s not super-loud or anything. those new kind of swing-out windows do suck, but that’s just what new development looks like. i think you’d be hard pressed to find someone that will build a “classic”-looking clinton hill building these days…
