As Here’s Park Slope noted a couple weeks ago, the development on the corner of St. Johns and 5th Avenue that will have four floor-through units and a ground-floor retail space is starting to reveal itself. The only listing that’s popped up so far is for the 1,600-square-foot duplex commercial space: Yours for $12,000, according to StreetEasy.

  1. 12K a month? gack. and the stupid listing doesnt even say how many bedrooms. also these kinds of uber expensive rentals totally ruin the neighborhood and make everyone elses rents get jacked up!!

    *rob*

  2. It’s difficult to tell, but looks as though the finished building is 1 story shorter than the rendering?

I like the way this looks in person. Obviously will hear many say it’s out of context, but I don’t believe all new construction in Brownstone Brooklyn needs to look like Brownstones. I think the developer made a nice touch by trying to at least use the red color for the exterior.
