crescent-street-licOn Friday, The Real Deal wrote about plans for a 40-unit condo development at 42-60 Crescent Street. The Rising Developers Group plans to build a ten-story, 48,000-square-foot building at the site. According to TRD, apartments will be “mostly three-bedroom units – and one 1,200-square-foot retail unit. Apartment sizes will range from 700 square feet for a one-bedroom to 1,700 square feet for a lone four-bedroom penthouse.” There’s no word on apartment pricing yet. The amenities include a gym, children’s center, parking, and rooftop access. Once the developers secure DOB permits, they will need to demolish the one-story garage currently on site. They hope to begin construction this November and launch pre-sales next spring.

  1. Are people willing to move to this spot because they assume some places to go out will eventually open in the immediate vicinity. The area seems pretty crappy around the other new developments that are up/going up nearby. I guess everyone that lives here runs to the train to head into Manhattan?
