Crown Heights Walking Tour
In conjunction with the BHS exhibit “Landmark and Legacy: Brooklyn Heights and the Preservation Movement in America,” this tour will take a look at the newest Brooklyn historic district, Crown Heights. Francis Morrone, author of An Architectural Guidebook to Brooklyn and co-curator of “Landmark and Legacy,” is the tour guide. Sunday, 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. $10 members; $15 non-members. BWAC: Really Big Art Show
Starting tomorrow, Saturday, July 28, Brooklyn Waterfront Artists Coalition presents its “Really Big Art Show,” featuring works of 200+ artists. Tomorrow’s opening day celebration features a meet-the-artists reception and music with Ray Rivera. Special events take place each weekend until August 19. Saturday, 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Free. Brooklyn’s Children Museum: Balkan Dance
As part of the Free Friday Family Jam series, Brooklyn Children’s Museum and Brooklyn-Queens Conservatory of Music present an evening of Balkan culture for all ages. Boricua Festival
This Saturday, July 28, celebrate Puerto Rican culture at the Boricua Festival at Prospect Park. Presented by Celebrate Brooklyn and the Boricua Festival Committee, the all-day lineup includes headliner Tito Rojas, as well as Joe Cuba Sextet, Viento De Agua, David Cedeño, and others. Electronic Waste Recycling
From Saturday, July 28, until Monday, July 30, the Cornelia Center is sponsoring Electronic Waste Recycling events in Manhattan. Check the website for a list of recyclable items. Saturday, Sunday, 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Monday 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. 220 E 4th Street, between Avenues A & B, in the parking lot.

Summer at Flatbush Farm
This Sunday, July 29, Summer at Flatbush Farm continues with another weekend BBQ on their 1500 square-foot outdoor patio. Their chefs grill savory tamales, spiced rub chicken, and shrimp and pineapple skewers, along with grilled corn on the cob. Sunday, 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. 78 St. Marks Avenue.
