Family Day at Green-Wood
Bring the whole family to Green-Wood and spend a beautiful June day learning, getting creative and enjoying our unique space. Kids and parents will use Green-Wood as an exploration ground to discover new things and have fun in the process! Arts and crafts activities will have you coloring, sketching and contemplating. Then lay out a blanket on the lawn or relax in the chapel — Green-Wood’s Family Day is the perfect way to spend a summer Sunday! Hot dogs and refreshments will be on sale. Family price: $15, includes two adults and up to four children. Reservations not required, but requested so we may gauge attendance. Buy tix here.

Photoville at Brooklyn Bridge Park
From June 22-July 1, United Photo Industries will present the inaugural Photoville in Brooklyn Bridge Park. Photoville is part country-fair, part photography event whose centerpiece is over 30 shipping containers of exhibition space showcasing international and local talent. Photoville also includes public talks, hands-on workshops, nighttime projections and a photo dog run along with a summer food & beer garden, creating a photographic destination like no other. Free Rhythm Revue Dance Party at Grand Army Plaza
This Saturday, June 23 from 4–7 at the Soldiers and Sailors Memorial Arch at Grand Army Plaza, bring your dancing shoes to a FREE Rhythm Revue Dance Party with WBGO’s Felix Hernandez! Partof Jazz: Brooklyn’s Beat, presented by WBGO Jazz 88.3 FM and Heart of Brooklyn, this annual party brings classic soul, R&B, reggae and Motown hits to Prospect Park’s Grand Army Plaza. Don’t miss it!

Brooklyn Flea + Smorgasburg
The Flea and Smorgasburg are on as usual this weekend. On Saturday, the Flea is held at 176 Lafayette Ave. (between Clermont + Vanderbilt Avenues) in Fort Greene. On Sunday, the Flea will be at 27 North 6th Street (between Kent Avenue + East River). Saturday at the Williamsburg location is also the home of our all-food market, Smorgasburg. The Flea features over a 150 vendors offering a great mix of vintage, antiques, jewelry, and amazing food. Saturday & Sunday, 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. Free.
