The Third Annual Fort Greene Glass Pickup
The third annual Fort Greene Park Glass Pickup will happen at 12:00PM on Saturday, March 24, 2012. We’re meeting at the southeast entrance of Fort Greene Park. This is part 1 of 3 of the Third Annual Glass Pickup. The goal is to completely rid the park of the littered broken glass to make the park a safer place for us and our pets. Volunteers collected 50 pounds of glass at the 2010 glass pickup. We’re aiming for at least 150 pounds in March. After the event we’ll all head to Walter’s for lunch and some drinks and to talk about the bench that will be made with the reclaimed glass. More info here!
