$25 Stuff-a-Sack Winter Clearance at the Underground Thrift Store
Due to the success and popularity of the sale on February 26, join us for an extra shopping day for our first-ever Underground “Stuff-a-Sack” Winter Clearance Sale at the Underground Thrift Store at Plymouth Church extended through Sunday, March 4, 2012 in Brooklyn Heights. Regular store hours will be from 12:30pm-4:30pm.
Shoppers can purchase as many $25 Underground Thrift Store Totes (a $5 value) as they like and can then stuff them with our inventory of winter designer clothing for women, men and children. The more sacks you stuff, the more you save! Or, buy individual items for 50% off the original price.
Free Community Meal By Flatbush Farm Share CSA
The Flatbush Farm Share CSA presents a free community meal through the Flatbush Reformed Church Bread for the Journey Hot Meals Program. Our CSA farmers, from the Farm at Miller’s Crossing and Hepworth Farms, are donating veggies and fruit and we have a crew of expert cooks volunteering their time to prepare the meal. We will have an Flatbush Farm Share info table, with summer 2012 sign ups and authorized EBT screenings. The meal’s theme is: The Local Food Economy–Affordable for All! So, in addition to eating local, we hope to facilitate some information sharing on the topic through guest tables. WHERE: Flatbush Reformed Church, gym (corner of Church & Flatbush; Q subway stop; direct entrance on Kenmore Terrace off of East 21st Street) WHEN: Saturday, March 3 from 12:00 – 2:00 pmGiven the cooking logistics, please RVSP to Outreach@flatbushfarmshare.com if you plan to attend.

The Flea runs from 10am to 5pm at Skylight One Hanson and SmorgasBrewery runs only Sunday from noon to 5pm.
