rob- fwiw (this thread being dead at this point) I believe all banks must, by ny law, provide a no-fee checking account w/ a $25 balance, though they don’t have to provide any of the now-basic bells/whistles with it (like an ATM card, etc.) I’d ask your local mogul-grouping.

Brooklyn had all these cool breweries.

There’s a TON of awesome houses way out there on Bushwick Avenue. Absolutely gorgeous but look to be in ill-repair. Gonna take alot of TLC.

There’s a mansion on the corner of myrtle and bushwick ave.
it’s this giant red brick house right next to the KFC and the elevated M train. It’s not too far from this guy’s place, just up the hill, I think.
some lucky person will snatch that one some time.
Rumor has it, that Louis Farrakhan even lived there for a while. I think it’s empty now.

check out this ny times story – the owners of Union Pool bought a castle out in bushwick to live in.
