A crisis builds as he moves to the title fight and hurtles to a shattering conclusion. James Gaddas’s hard-hitting play features an emotionally intense and highly physical performance from Jonny Collis-Scurll, labelled ‘one to watch’ by the Stage following his performance in ‘Weepie’ at C venues during last year’s Edinburgh Festival Fringe. The Constellations: Concert
The popular Atlanta supergroup has formed after the creation of Southern Gothic. As a popular local band, they have played all of Atlanta’s hotspots and began touring nationally. The band is said to be a mix of ‘70’s Fela Kuti, the Gorillaz, and Tom Waits. Having collaborated with the likes of Cee-Lo Green and Asher Roth, this 6 person band even comes with its very own all-girl clap squad. Wednesday, December 15. 50th Anniversary of United Airlines Flight 826 and TWA Flight 266
Fifty years to the day of the tragic crash–Green-Wood Cemetery will unveil a new eight-foot memorial honoring those who perished, both in the sky and on the ground in Park Slope, Brooklyn. The granite monument will stand sentinel near the grave site where the unidentified remains of victims have rested for half a century. Please RSVP on-line or call 718.768.7300. Celebrating a Century: Hollywood In the Heights
Back by popular demand, we are offering two screenings of video montages of memorable exterior scenes from films shot in Brooklyn Heights. Just about everybody enjoys seeing their neighborhood on the big screen, and this fast moving montage will entertain you with a collection of movies spanning the decades between 1960 to 2010, taking all back to a time when ships still docked at Piers 1 – 5 and there were no chain stores yet on Montague Street!
