The porch houses are on the east side of Vanderbilt Ave, about 1/4 of the way north from Myrtle towards Park. (Across the street from the ongoing gigantic construction project at 118-122 Vanderbilt)
Hey an actual Blog For Crown Heights… thats new.
whats the exact address for the porch houses?
I don’t think the Straphangers got on the L anytime before 10AM or after 4PM. I was on this morning at 7:30 and had someone practically sitting in my lap from Montrose to Lorimer. If that’s “great” service, I’d hate to see what qualifies as crappy service. And the G as a “reliable” train?! Are you kidding me? The only thing reliable about it is the 10 minute wait between trains.
How can you praise the L train when I wait in the morning on the platform for a spot on the car.
There is an interesting mix of older houses on Vanderbilt, including that very old decrepit one nearly under the BQE. Was Vanderbilt the original thoroughfare running down to the bay?
