“I told them I was mad mad about it and they needed to expand their vocabulary like mad.”
Ha! Clearly, you did the right thing.
If they had actually closed the doors I would have pulled the brake cord. These people are oftentimes brain dead.
“The jackass conductor theis morning on thje A train waits until it fills up and then tells everyone that there are more trains behind us and that this one will run ‘Local.'”
They pulled the same sort of crap on me last week – the conductor waited until everyone boarded the #3 (local) train at Franklin, THEN told everyone the train would go express to Utica (by passing Kingston and Nostrand). This was post-work rush, and most of the folks on my car (including me) were planning to exit at Kingston or Nostrand. I gave the conductor an earful when I got off the train to go back to the stop be passed. I eeven calle him a “liar.” He closed his window. That’s about the only satisfaction I got.
My teenage nieces can’t say a single word without prefacing it with “mad”. I told them I was mad mad about it and they needed to expand their vocabulary like mad.
LOL…Does that mean it gets slightly “less ghetto” once I step on at Utica Ave??? LOL
rob…I hope the What doesn’t call you out on this one, for your sake.
rob- can you please just shut up? Or think before you post? You sound like a 5 year old trying out dirty words.
the A train is mad ghetto. most of the express trains ive noticed are terribly ghetto.
*r*
MTA is bogus, but not because of the conductors. Get a clue folks, something is terribly wrong at the top.
discussions about the 2nd Ave. subway line tend to piss me off. How about a few more lines in the Bronx or Queens or Brooklyn. Light rail- no carving your way though bedrock (expensive). Just one reason why fares will go up- so the Manhattanites won’t have to walk so far to a subway stop.
