This really is a great shot Brooklynative. It reminds me of the artist who’s work, mostly pencil and charcoal sketches, was displayed in the subway museum in BH for awhile – I think he died recently – he would capture people lost in thought while going about their lives… sitting on the subway, looking at a squirrel, watching a playground across the street thinking about something difficult…
It feels a little sad and perfectly, puzzlingly human to me. Wonder about what she is thinking. And she looks to be in her late 70’s or early 80’s, but still she keeps her hair dyed, puts on her lipstick, pencils in her eyebrows, wears a bit of jewelry, tries to match her clothes and so on. The dog, I suspect, is cute and yippy. Maybe no.
