So you must have seen the Times article today about the “murderous” Prospect Park swans – are these the same?
Oh, yes and nice photo!!! I like(d) it too. There was nice one yesterday as well. The NYTimes Fort Greene Local blog had a lot of photos the other day and they were *not* of this caliber…but I think they were emulating Brownstoner’s free bank of dedicated Brownstoner Photo Pool people.
What’s my tagline? I can’t remember. Anyone?

You should check out Casa Cara’s blog more. Jonathan used to have links to some of her entries. She has moved to the East End, no longer Broolyn, but still does some nice ones on Brownstone Brooklyn and she still owns a home here–just rents it out. She shares the Brownstone Voyeur entry with OTBKB.

Swans are very aggressive and can bite the hell out of you. I went to college in Scotland my junior year and the campus was about shut down by the fact that a swan flew onto the single elevated footpath that separated the dorms from the classrooms and held firm against all attempts to dislodge him.
These particular swans however were being happily fed matzos by the hasidim of Sheepshead Bay.
