Vision Wanted for Slice of Dumbo

Do you have a vision for Dumbo’s Pearl Street Triangle, the public plaza in the middle of Dumbo next to the Manhattan Bridge arch? The city has been transforming the former parking lot into public space over several years. Last year, the Dumbo Improvement District secured $20 million for the project, which will also include restoring the area’s original Belgian block paving. Tuesday, July 17, the city will hold the first of several workshops to brainstorm ideas for the space with its designers and the public. The session starts at 6 pm at 111 Front St., Room 216.
