  1. J. Crew is two years away, according to the cashier at Pacific Green, the grocery it’s replacing. She said they have two more years on their lease.

  2. Depressing. Even though I went into that bar once and never again, that beautiful marble storefront is made for the purpose. Talking of aging oneself, I drove down Bleecker St the other day and missed the Pink Teacup.

  3. Fantastic! It’s now only a short step before Cobble Hill also has five Ralph Lauren stores, three Juicy Couture stores, and a few simple James Perse storefronts. Can’t wait.

  4. We all know how it ends. With a lot of banks and a few duane reades. They’ll probably sell growlers for ambiance, just like the Whole Foods.

  5. What it’s really not long ’til is the area becoming a complete zoo with foot traffic as dense as the pedestrian mall otherwise Soho on the Weekends–and the people who live here wanting to move away. . . . Brownstone Brooklyn is slowly becoming a victim of its own success. Inevitable but still sad.
