previous (sic) tenement … damn!
oy, the williamsburg prices! the grand street 1.285M+ is a good example of the usual nonsense; what is the charge to tenants to make the mortgage, 2K for each of the dopey apartments, + an out of sight 4K for the store? yay, pay $500 out of pocket for the privilege of owning a not at ALL close to the subway antique tenament! you’ve got a brain in your head? this isn’t the ritz, C’MON people.as for as for the other one, orient ave is in bushwick, enough said.
ah, give ’em an inch ….
The Ditmas Park House seems like a bargain, even if it does need work and isn’t in a prime DP location. It’s actually in Beverley Square West, which is extremely convenient for the subway, and grocery stores, pharmacies, Vox Pop, Flatbush Coop, Picket Fence, Johns Bakery, etc… It is also very close to the Express Bus stop into Manhattan, which lots of people seem to use and like. On the down side, I think the property backs up onto a busy section of Coney Island Avenue.
