Why Kevin Parker continues to get a free legal pass is beyond me. I guess he’ll have to murder someone before he has to pay a fair price for his actions.
The buildings on Smith Street are in desperate need of attention. What is the point of the DOB if buildings are just left to deterioate. Law should be if you do not take care of your building after 1 year, city should sieze it and “tough on you”.
Joseph J. Jacobs! Montrose, you could do a little piece on this guy. He was one of Brooklyn’s own, Lebanese immigrant who’s family settled in either the Heights or Cobble Hill, grad of Polytechnic University (Institute it was called back then) and went on to found one of the world’s largest engineering companies based in California. I had the honor of meeting him once, he told me funny stories about my grandfather, who apparently was his pal when they were younger.

What is it with these businesses in brooklyn, first that pizza place and now this garden center (among others), not paying rent and then trying to get the community riled up against the landlord. Enough of your low-life, parasitic behavior.
