Funny – I was just thinking about the redesign Curbed did a few months back, and how nice it was that Brownstoner had kept things simple on his site. Now this!
OK, this is a lot of subtle design changes (commenter name first, tan (er, brownstone-colored) text boxes, post titles in serif is a new thing, no?) and a bunch of new gadgets to play with (comment bubbles, Facebook and Twitter buttons, most commented list,
The Curbed redesign *looked* nice, but in practice it made it a lot harder to use the site. Hopefully Brownstoner’s new design keeps the functionality of the old site.
Also, is it my imagination or are there a lot more Flash advertisements? (Which I only notice because I use a flash blocker!)
Site looks good in IE, but looks like a total train wreck in firefox. Anyone else getting that?
