very rosy article about section 8. Sounds like this great program that helps people help themselves. The section 8 buildings I know have people that don’t work on the books, and get their income from lord knows where. They are always home and drive 60,000 dollar cars…Hmmm.. interesting. The owners of these buildings let them rot. They are getting a steady flow of rent from the government. So only the bare minimum is done to keep the buildings from being condemned. And the hard working people in those buildings live in fear. That is their motivation to get out.
