Pete – no one does ANYTHING as councilman – it is a legislature with virtually no power. Being a city councilman does not prepare you to be a Comptroller (not that most are prepared anyway) – and if you are misrepresenting your past then better we should know now.

Marauding pigeons? Watch your back on the roof!

MJ party’s gonna be bananas.

not question of what did before councilman but what has he done as councilman and what has he learned. Which seems substantial.
Yassky on other hand decided to buckle under to (kiss a**) to powers that be (Bloomberg/and certain rabbis in Williamsburg). He voted to extend term limits and willing to do all for those with the $$ and power to deliver votes.
He does not represent average new yorker.
Bird’s eye view!
love the photo!
While I am NO Yasskey supporter (such a hack – runs for everything) – this guy Liu needs SERIOUS investigation. I challange anyone to really investigate his pre-city-council career. Near as I can tell he bounced around with no purpose, and no real skills -now he is trying to claim he worked in ‘finance’ when he essentially had a temp job. Its great that he is the 1st Asian American city council man but what else is he???
Sweet photo–great perspective.
