A tipster sent photographic evidence of a Tony Roma’s chain moving into a storefront at the Atlantic Terrace co-op development. This is the building on the corner of South Portland and Atlantic — there are still two empty commercial spaces on the ground floor. According to our tipster, they were previously used for the Obama campaign and a pumpkin carving company. As for Tony Roma’s, he says: “Was hoping for something that wasn’t a chain, but so be it.” The restaurant serves ribs, steaks, seafood, chicken, burgers, and the like. GMAP

  1. You don’t have to worry about the locals avoiding this place like a hunting supplies store. I do, sadly think the stadium traffic will keep this one afloat. But maybe not. If Tony Roma’s dies, that says so many wonderful things about brooklyn.
