T Mobile to Fulton Street [Bed Stuy Gateway]
Most Outrageous Development [Gowanus Lounge]
I think the authors have mixed feelings about the T-Mobile store, just as they did when the Sprint store opened:
“As easy as it is to berate the chain malling of New York’s street’s, one easy and objective observation to make is that these chains tend to come into the neighborhood and present their best face possible with very nice storefronts and facades. In our humble opinion, a pretty new storefront like Sprint’s does raise the aesthetic bar higher in this business district.”
It’s a sad state of affair when getting a T Mobile store is good news for your neighborhood. Most places would be upset if Sprint, T Mobile and others started opening stores on their block. Maybe that part of Fulton Street can become the new Fulton Mall? Hope not…
