Letitia James seems to care only about protesting condominium development. Funny, her frothing protests against the Atlantic Yards rarely make the pages of her newsletter. I wonder why…
stonersquat, she does alot with Fort Greene residents. I think you don’t know what you are talking about.
Letitia James has every reason to fight for the underdogs afterall didn’t she get her job after her predecessor was murdered? Does she really represent the community? No. Who are her majority constituents? Affluent law obiding brownstoners who don’t necessarily see eye to eye with her. She does the majority of outreach with east new york, when in fact her base should be downtown. “Nuff said”.
Letitia James is top notch. ’nuff said!!
I have emailed Ms. James many times to get things done over the last couple of years and she has done everything. Yassky has yet to return a call or email. She is the best.
If public outrage over alleged eminent domain abuse is so broad, then why did only about 40 people attend this event?
This picture personifies Letitia James. Her index finger is raised and she is, no doubt, delivering yet another one of her unhinged lectures on the evils of NYC’s vanishing vacant lots. Ah well, only a few more years and she’ll be out of office. It can’t come soon enough.
I love it. They take half my income for “the public good”, but god help us if they take some decrepit hellhole so we can increase the supply of housing in this overcrowded city.
Nothing like the sight of a bunch of loudmouthed hypocrites.
We long ago gave away our right to the notion people have a right to anything but a free check from the government to do nothing but whine like a baby.
