Haring-Inspired Duplex for Sale [WSJ]
I have to get this off my chest. Just read the article about the Haring inspired apartment.
First off, it’s not Cobble Hill, it is Columbia Waterfront District.
Two: it is a so-called 1.5 bedroom, which is really one bedroom plus home office.
Three: homemade Haringesque artwork all over the place is terrible. I grew up loving his work as a native NY-er, this makes me cringe. The entire decor screams tacky 80’s era bachelor pad.
Four: 1.3 million for a one bedroom far away from the train. Broker is on crack.
Mr. B you should post this apartment listing as Condo of the day and see the comments spew forth.
