God must be a she, shes so variable.
One day its all love and grace, the next its all wrath and smiting.
What Pete said.
“Doesn’t God make everything? Its her fault really.”
Ditto, glad to know that you’re certain God is a She.

So, is all the focus on the chicken wings (official and blogish) because people just don’t want to think about teenagers trying to kill each other on a pleasant November afternoon?
personally i don’t give a chicken’s ass if stupid teenagers kill each other. is it sad? yes. do i feel bad for the families? yes. would i be upset if i got hit with a stray bullet? probably. i think this whole story is getting way too much attention, things like this happen every day, in every city.

“because people just don’t want to think about teenagers trying to kill each other on a pleasant November afternoon?”
That discussion invariably leads to unfounded charges of racism and actual racism, so polite company avoids it like the plague.
So, is all the focus on the chicken wings (official and blogish) because people just don’t want to think about teenagers trying to kill each other on a pleasant November afternoon?
The business (or businesses) to bear some responsibility in how they conduct their promotions. Was Walmart not partly responsible for the trampling death on day after Thanksgiving. Are the big night clubs that attract large crowds and disperse them intoxicated into our streets at night partly liable for effect on neighboring communities.
I don’t know facts of this event – but to blanketly say totally not their problem or responsibility is incorrect.
what boggled my mind was the notion that 40 cents is cheap for a teeny tiny chicken wing. wtf? im sorry, but ounce for ounce that is not cheap at all. in fact it’s rather expensive. another thing, chickens seem pretty large to me, but chicken wings like the one in this story are very small, like smaller than canary wings. do they shrink in the oven or something? i had chicken wings for the first time ever on my 29th birthday party at hooters (shut up) a few years ago, and they had a nice flavor but really they were kinda disgusting and there’s like not much meat on them and the meat that is on them is like all grey and rubbery.

If we decriminalized stabbings this wouldn’t be a crime.
