Non-tippers?!! Are you kidding me? It was like 1 in the afternoon and these dudes were looking to get some poor suckers to buy them beer. Tipping was never in the equation.

I took this shot a few minutes before that woman Brownstoner posted yesterday. There were three young Russian guys, talking up three much older Russian woman in a cafe on Brighton Beach. I couldn’t quite figure out what was going on. When the bill came, the Russian dudes took off. They didn’t go far, they quickly seemed to be on the nod. This guy on the bench, who had been the loudest and most obnoxious, quickly passed out. It was like a scene from Requiem for a Dream but in Russian. You gotta luv Brooklyn, eh.
