I was recently in Prospect Park and started to re-appreciate it. There are some amazing large old oaks and more than a few bucolic sweeping vistas. I certainly think it is as good as central park, with the caveats that it is of a different genre, and is not well maintained.
Beautiful photo. Prospect Park really is an amazing place. Olmstead and Vaux considered it their masterpiece, not Central Park.
Dave, are you serious? Prospect Park is amazing.
I’ve never been to Prospect park. That picture is beautiful.
