I admire the work and dedication on all of these houses, but I prefer the no blow ups too. Also prefer no music, actually. Tho, maybe I’ve just heard squeaky bad music.
So, growing up as a Jew in E. Northport before there were hardly any Jews there, we’d beg my mom to drive us around looking at Christmas lights. I had severe Christmas envy.
> If things weren’t so PC around here that would def be QOTD
Thanks, Joe, but the QOTD seems to be an extinct species. Except for that one recent one from the crazy Ayn Rand guy.
rob, weren’t you planning a trip down to dyker last xmas? did you not make it? try to get there is season, homey.
THAT’s the Dyker Heights lightfest?
ugh. color me unimpressed.
*rob*
Best thing about this particular house is the sound system. From now on I’m totally unimpressed by any holiday display that doesn’t include an audio component.
It’s an easy mistake to make. Lots of dykes in Ditmas.

“not this explosion of a blow-up fetish.”
sorry, didn’t mean that in a rude way…..it is fun to look at!
“there’s a few nicely done houses.”
and ‘nicely’ as in classy…not this explosion of a blow-up fetish.
