The great fro-yo craze of aught eight is spreading to Court Street. Signage has gone up on a boarded-up storefront near the corner of State and Court saying it will be the future location of a Yogo Monster. Over the winter, a Yogo Monster opened in the Slope. GMAP

  1. not a fan of yogo monster. what’s with the different flavors when they all taste the same? we need a Red Mango store to come into the area. that would be awesome. I can eat that stuff all the time.

  2. Count me equally underwhelmed by the Park Slope store. It wasn’t BAD but I wouldn’t go out of my way to go back. They need more toppings, at the very least.

The layout of the store is poor – they have you hit the register head on, while the actual display of toppings is along the side. Numerous folks walked in and were confused while I was sitting there. They should flip it and have the register towards the far end and get a real qeue going.

  3. only tried yogo once and that was enough. no redeeming qualities in my opinion unless you’re just in it for caloric purposes. flavor seemed synthetic industrial, and not like a real frozen yogurt, too icy. i still may give it another chance since it was near their opening date…maybe theyve worked the kinks out.

  4. i live near the yogo monster in park slope, and while the name is wretched, the product is delicious. a little on the expensive side, but i enjoy it as a treat a couple times a week.

before it opened, i was a huge oko fan, but now prefer yogo m.

the one on 7th is always bustling and the decor is fun and modern.
