Way back in December, Eater reported that the folks behind Bocca Lupo were gearing up to open an American bistro with “Over 20 beers on tap, a raw bar, open kitchen and cool backyard!” The restaurant was supposed to open in the old Shakespeare’s Sister space in February. Then, in early May, BococaLand said that the restaurant would be ready to open this spring. Now it’s summertime, and the windows are still papered. Does anybody know what’s going on in there? GMAP

  1. On Sunday the door was open and people were rolling in supplies. I asked one of the guys when they were opening, and he said in the next few weeks.

Later that evening the door as open and it looked like they were having a friends & family soft opening with 15-20 people inside.

Place looked very nice inside. Can’t wait since I live 3 doors away from it.
