The Treats Truck is setting up shop at 521 Court Street, just south of 9th Street, in Carroll Gardens. Time Out New York‘s The Feed says that “owner/baker/driver Kim Ima… is working with architect Ole Sondreson, whose previous projects include the urban-rustic Farm on Adderley. Among other things, he’ll be building out a back garden for Ima, which she envisions as an event space. The new, nonmobile locale will also allow Ima to expand her repertoire to include breakfast items, light savory fare, cakes (previously available by special order only), ice cream sandwiches and brownies à la mode.” Ima is working toward opening in early 2011. The trucks will keep on rolling. Word is, the baking for both trucks will happen at the shop.

Wonder if the prices will be higher at the store cause they’re very reasonable at the truck.
