Faux Eater reports that the pint-sized 7th Avenue space between 14th and 15th Streets that once housed Tost will soon open as a beer bar. The owner of the forthcoming Beer Table (which is waiting on a liquor license) used to be a beer importer, and he’s going to have three rare beers on tap at a time. Think this’ll go over well with the locals?

  1. This seems ubiquitous in Park Slope, though. There’s a lot of very casual places, like bars, pubs or restaurants with tons of strollers and yelling kids. Park Slope needs some more romantic, special, date-night places like Carroll Gardens & Williamsburg have. Al di La is too crowded to be romantic. Tempo is decent. Convivium is too expensive for what it is, and the servers are too rude to deserve my business anymore.
