The owner of the forthcoming Beer Table (which is waiting on a liquor license) used to be a beer importer, and he’s going to have three rare beers on tap at a time. Think this’ll go over well with the locals?
Exclusive: Park Slope’s Forthcoming Beer Bar [Faux Eater] GMAP
Anyone who thinks this is a poor idea just doesn’t get it. Of course most bars server beer, but a quality bar with rare beer will be a delightful treat for the neighborhood.
yup, all the playas are posting on real estate blogs.
since you’re a single, successful ‘playa’ 7:26, what are you doing hitting the bars before midnight anyway? that’s when CHILDREN work their game. So I guess you have none, son.
There’s a lot of bars, but few places that have good beer. This place’ll go over well with me!
This seems ubiquitous in Park Slope, though. There’s a lot of very casual places, like bars, pubs or restaurants with tons of strollers and yelling kids. Park Slope needs some more romantic, special, date-night places like Carroll Gardens & Williamsburg have. Al di La is too crowded to be romantic. Tempo is decent. Convivium is too expensive for what it is, and the servers are too rude to deserve my business anymore.
Beer isn’t just for breakfast anymore.
Tost was great. I miss them. Does anyone know if the Tost folk will have a new place?
Freakin BEER bar! What other kind of bar is there? JEEsus.
Probably not even open in the morning. Freakin yuppies!
And some steers and queers and you’re all set.
