The folks who run House By We sent us a gushing review of Peaches Market, the Southern-tinged restaurant that opened last Friday on the corner of Lewis and MacDonough: “The crowd was lively and the atmosphere cozy and welcoming. Food was fabulous: the warm black-eyed pea salad was scrumptious, clam strips were delectable and the blackened tilapia—fresh and light…and all very reasonably priced.” Yelpers are similarly smitten. Anyone else check it out? Peaches comes c/o the people behind Fort Greene’s Smoke Joint (which, coincidentally, is today’s Restaurant of the Day) and Little Piggy.

  1. LOL…I just get into the stroller discussions here when they really go off the wall. It’s not a big deal over in Bed Stuy so I have no feelings one way or the other.

I wondewr what Craig & Ben think about this whole thread…i guess we’ll find out soon!!!

    Any publicity is good publicity.

  2. I had fallen into that lowlife practice of baiting here on the post bkny. Of course you’re invited.

And maybe I’ll see you there tonight but not sure I can get there before 8:30
